Although there are many organizations that support the emotional needs of family caregivers, Caregivers Assurance is currently the only organization dedicated to the financial and technology support needs of unpaid caregivers. Oftentimes, the stress associated with facing financial burdens or learning how to use new caregiver support technologies is more detrimental to caregivers than the emotional stress of caring for elderly parents, disabled children or wounded warriors.

The Lifespan Respite Care Program (LRCP) is intended to expand and enhance services for family caregivers in statewide respite programs, improve coordination of services between available programs, improve access to caregivers by streamlining the delivery of planned and emergency respite services and improve the overall quality of respite services currently available.
